The Idea
Introducing the CNSRV LTD. DC:02 an industry changing sustainable food defroster and chiller. Pulse was excited to help bring this product to life, from a simple idea to an efficient solution.
The DC:02 was created to save water, money, time, and the quality of the food we eat. With its cost-effective methodology it uses 98% less water, defrosts in half the usual time, and saves up to 1,000,000 gallons per year per kitchen. Designed with commercial applications in mind, it facilitates easy operation and features.
To defrost the user need only place their frozen food in the sink and fill with water to the minimum fill line, the DC:02 does the rest by circulating water at the appropriate temperature and reducing water waste. Same for the chilling process, hot food is added to the sink, followed by ice and water, then DC:02’s chill cycle commences.
Pulse worked with CNSRV LTD. every step of the way, from design to prototype, to support graphics, to packaging. Resulting in this sustainable and dynamic new product.

Pulse’s design expertise was also key in the development of the CNSRV LTD. DC:02 manual. Explaining the easy operation of this innovative product. Illustrations, renderings, and diagrams are used to clearly guide the user, setting them us for success on deployment. Additionally, the DC:02 manual lives on the website, making it readily accessible to any buyer or kitchen staff member.
